PORTRAIT RETOUCHING ESSENTIALS WORKSHOP
This is an interactive online photography workshop hosted by Shutter Art Love LLC.
Whether you're a portrait photographer, blogger or creative that enjoys taking photographs of people, this workshop is for you. Creating a portrait doesn't have to stop with pressing the button. Although that's an important part of the process, the image can always be taken to the next level through skillful retouching. There are lots of programs that allow you to make global adjustments or apply preset filters to your image and while that's a great option, there are some images that require a more precise approach.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
This online interactive workshop will focus on the fundamentals of skin retouching in Adobe Photoshop. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and be guided in real time through a series of techniques that will enhance their portraits without compromising the integrity of the images. These techniques are essential for making images suitable for delivering to clients, wowing their social media followers, displaying on a wall or gallery, and the list goes on... Participants will also have the opportunity (while time permits) to present their personal work for live review and critique.
THE INSTRUCTOR
Ozem Ellis is an award winning fine art portrait photographer with over 16 years of experience working professionally in Adobe Photoshop. His work has been featured in galleries, magazines and publications across the globe. He believes it is important to maintain beautiful/natural tones in a portrait and tailors both his photography and retouching workflows to doing what's necessary in order to achieve the desired final result without going over board.
REQUIREMENTS
All you need is the following:
A high-speed internet connection
A computer with a webcam
Adobe Photoshop CS6 and above
Proficiency with the English language
A properly calibrated monitor is recommended but not an absolute must for this particular course.
